Sculpting/ Finding a form
Note: Whatever object or material you use for this process will more than likely be ruined or at least damaged by the sand resin. If you're careful, however, you can avoid any damage to the form or material. DO NOT USE ANYTHING PRECIOUS OR IRREPLACEABLE FOR THIS PROCESS.
Unlike the Lost Foam and Lost Wax processes, the sand resin method is not a pure waste mold process where the sculpted material is destroyed in the process. The mold itself, however, is only good for one pour. You can also use any found object or sculpt an object (as i did) for this process. Complicated objects will be harder and its best to use this process for casting multiples of objects that can be separated into two parts.
